Horseback Trail rides are by appointment in select parks in Pasco, Polk, Hernando, Hillsborough, Martin, Citrus, Marion, and St Lucie Counties of Florida. We also cover a good bit of Florida and points beyond by request and are happy to quote you a price.

Trail Ride Rates East Coast Division (Brevard, Martin and St Lucie Counties)
$150 per person for 2 hours

Trail Ride Rates — West Coast Division
Dover, Lower Green Swamp Preserve, and Citrus:
• $85 per person — 1 hour (Citrus only)
• $99 per person — 1.5 hours
• $129 per person — 2 hours
Locations away from home add a one-time fuel surcharge per trailer load, not per rider: no surcharge for Citrus, Dover, or Lower Green Swamp; $30 Alston; $45 Nobleton, Tucker Hill, Alafia; $55 Ross Prairie; $60 Twin Ponds, Green Swamp West, Shangri La, Colt Creek, Oak Ridge, Serenova.

Camp with the Horses (most Florida counties)
$195 per day per person, 2-day minimum ($100 deposit)
Mileage is not included in the camping price.
Should we tip our Wrangler? TIPS ~ TO INSURE PROPER SERVICE If you liked your ride, hug and treat your horse and tip your Wrangler or Trail Boss! Many people do not realize that it is customary to tip your wrangler. I have some staff who volunteer their time and only receive tips and your heartfelt appreciation, in compensation. If you had a great time on your ride, show your appreciation by tipping your Wrangler. The standard is 15-20% - similar to what you would tip a waiter or waitress.
Special Events on a Choyce Horse
Great Florida Cattle Drive Gathering, April 8 to 11, 2027, Live Oak: $640 for the weekend. Camping, trail riding, arena games, and an optional one-night cattle drive, all in Florida's cow camp tradition.
Lt. Roger Haddock Memorial Trail Ride, January 14 to 18, 2027, St. Cloud: $975 per person for all five days, plus the ride's own $400 registration, which you pay to the organizer. That registration covers camping, guided rides, meals, and entertainment.
Florida Cracker Trail 40th Annual Cross State Ride, February 13 to 20, 2027, Bradenton to Fort Pierce: $1,515 per person. We get there early, packet pickup on Saturday the 13th, ride out Sunday through Saturday, and finish with the parade through downtown Fort Pierce. This ride is a reenactment of the return trip from Punta Rassa after delivering your cattle to ship to Cuba. You come back with a little jingle in your pockets. This is the 40th anniversary ride, forty years of crossing Florida the old way, about 120 miles on horseback. Ride it on a Choyce horse and be part of the anniversary year.
Every special event package takes a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold your horse. Your balance must be paid in full 30 days before the ride. No refunds unless I can replace you. Text 772-485-1903 to check availability.
Trail Ride Club: Joyride by Choyce
Stop scrolling and come ride. Weekday rides in Citrus County, Monday through Friday, on quiet trails with a horse matched to you. Citrus County is the heart of Florida's Nature Coast, and our home trails run through some of the prettiest riding in the state, moss-draped oaks, pine woods, and open grass. Helmets provided, rides by appointment. For experienced riders: trotting and cantering when conditions allow, included, no upcharge.
Trail Ride Club: $300 a month for 4 rides. Trail Ride Club Plus: $500 a month for 8 rides. Commit and save: 3 months takes $5 a month off, 6 months takes $10 a month off.
